Prescription Renewal Policy.

As a general rule, Dr. Hurmatov does not provide any medications prescription refill over fax, telephone, or email.

All prescriptions will be renewed only during your doctor's appointment.

Patients are responsible for keeping track of their own medications and booking appointments in time for their renewal.

We are working hard to make sure everyone has the time and ability to see the doctor in accordance with one's health needs, however, prescription renewal is not a medical emergency and no urgent appointments will be given.

If you do not have enough medications until your next appointment, please remember your pharmacist is allowed to refill your medications until your appointment under his/her own license.

Please remember if the doctor gives you a limited supply of your medication (10 days, two weeks, one month, etc..) it means you need to come back for an appointment at the end of that period, so the doctor can review the progress of your treatment and if necessary make some adjustments to the course of your treatment.

For your convenience, you can book an appointment online or you can call us at (905)688-2000 and we will book an appointment for you.

According to OMA Guideline To Uninsured Services, the service of refilling prescriptions without a visit is an uninsured service and must be paid by patients. The cost of such a service is $10-$15 per prescription (one medication).

Due to the ethical and practical complexity of such services we have decided not to implement this paid service in our clinic.

All patients must book an appointment for a prescription renewal.
